NAKATA entered the cold roll forming industry in 1959 and developed many new technologies. We are particularly proud of FFX Mill, the only kind in the industry that introduced the complete common-use rolls combined with the NC system supported by our proprietary FEM technology. Production of FF Mills won a prize from Japan Society of Technology for Plasticity. Won an Aida Technology Prize. Developed 3D elasticity FEM techniques. Completed the first FFX Mill, and succeeded its installation followed by uneventful launch. |

Development of the FFX mill won a prize from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for its high performance in ERW pipe production. |

Developed Roll Box, a common-use roll forming mill for square tube production. |

Celebrated the 100th year anniversary and moved the headquarters and the plant to Yodogawa-ku, Osaka. |

Delivered a 25" API mill plant in Russia |

Inherited pipe mill business from Mitsubishi-Hitachi Metals Machinery, Inc. |
